Robyn received her degree in Secondary English Education from LSU and began her career in the public school system. She taught for two years before resigning to be a full-time wife and mother. Five years later she added the position of Homeschooling Mom to her resume and has been happily homeschooling since 2001. After six years of neglecting her writing curriculum, she discovered Teaching Writing with Structure & Style by the Institute of Excellence in Writing and finally learned how to teach her students to write. She is now a Registered Instructor with IEW and will go on for far too long about how much she loves it to anyone who happens to ask, and she thrives on watching reluctant writers experience the thrill of success that is inevitable when using its methods.
Robyn lives in Louisiana with her husband, three sons, dog, two cats and an endless string of frogs, lizards and snakes that were just too slow.
