Editing services are available to homeschooling students currently writing with structure and style as taught by the Institute of Excellence in Writing. Papers will be edited for spelling, mechanics and grammar in addition to the elements of structure and style according to the assigned checklist. Each submission will be edited and returned as a PDF document. (Student must have Adobe Acrobat Viewer.)
Plan Options
Plan 1: $25 for up to 1,000 words
Plan 2: $50 for up to 2,500 words
Plan 3: $75 for up to 5,000 words
Plan 4: $100 for up to 10,000 words
*The average 5 paragraph paper is approximately 1,000 words.
Submissions will be returned within 5 days of receipt by the editor. The word count will be subtracted from the total of the pre-paid plan amount. For example, if the word count for draft 1 of “The Ants and the Grasshopper” is 123 words, there will be 877 words remaining on a 1,000 word plan. If draft 2 of the same assignment comes in with a total of 136 words, there will be 741 words remaining on the plan. The title of the assignment and the student’s name must appear at the top of the paper and do count toward the word count. Refunds will not be issued for any “unused” words, but these words may be rolled over to a new plan when it is purchased.
